Gym

Every time I go to gym,
Mats and bars I see.
Teachers, Coach, and hoola hoops,
Vaults and tracks for me.

Time to do my gym routine,
In front of the judges,
Wonder if they’ll give me ten,
Hope they don’t have grudges!

I do back flips, one by one,
Then some front-handsprings,
Somersaults and backward rolls,
That’s my floor routine.

Bars await, I stride on o’er
Coach’s test to do.
I finish up with a back hip circle,
Everyone’s cheering ‘yahoo!’

Vault will stare me in the eye,
‘Stick out like a sore thumb,
As I do an arm circle,
My heart beats like a drum.

Track is up, I cannot wait.
I run a marathon
They see me run, and trip not once,
They list my pros, not cons.

The scores are out, oh boy, oh boy!
They gather right around,
Then they come and lift me up
Because, I’ve won the crown!

The Family, A Proclamation

In the Family, a proclamation,
To all the world's big 'dome',
It list's some family strength'ners,
To make a happy home.

A couple of these strength'ners,
I think I here will list,
Marriage and knowledge equal
Eternal happiness.

Everyone, male and female,
Are made in the image of God.
Remember this: he made you,
Then you'll be holding the rod.

In the heavenly realm, premortal,
We all knew Jesus Christ.
His plan for us is awesome,
But Satan wants it sliced.

Moms and Dads are responsible
To rear kids in the right.
But, hey! they are not being mean,
So don't fear; they won't bite.

To have a happy marriage,
Some things you have to do,
Be loving, and not lazy,
Find happy dates to do.

The Family, a Proclamation,
to all the world's big 'dome',
It list's some family strength'ners,
to have a happy home.

Vacation

Mother says "vacation time!"
I totally cannot wait.
We’ll have fun with fishing,
And lots and lots of bait.

Sand castles await us
On a bright and sandy beach,
I wade on through the water;
While munching on a peach!

Now I dream of our hotel,
Where rich people abide,
Gerbils, cats, french poodles,
And plenty more besides.

When we see the details,
Our hearts dip down a lot,
We’re ‘cationing in a cabin,
There’s no fish to be caught.

No sand castles, no peaches,
I am so very sad,
No gerbils and no poodles,
But I cannot be mad.

Mom knew nothing of my plans,
My heavenly hotels,
My wading spots, My cats and dogs,
My plans I give farewells.

As it turns out, when we return,
I brag so graciously,
To my friends of all the fun,
The cabin had for me.

Stories

I wrote a lotta stories once,
To put into the fair,
One was about a hallows night,
The other ‘bout a bear!

I got like, fifty stories,
a lotta a lotta stories,
To write them gets me glories,
When I write someone stories!

I wrote a book ‘bout Princess Peach,
Luigi, Mario,
The toads (I realized they’re twins),
and mean old Wario!

I got like, fifty stories,
a lotta a lotta stories,
To write them gets me glories,
When I write someone stories!

I wrote a story ‘bout a cat,
It only name was Socks,
Kiddies gave him bubble bath,
But grown-ups gave him rocks!

I got like, fifty stories,
a lotta a lotta stories,
To write them gets me glories,
When I write someone stories!

I wrote a mystery one time,
About a little girl,
She and her friends solved it real quick,
And earn themselves a pearl!

I got like, fifty stories,
a lotta a lotta stories,
To write them gets me glories,
When I write someone stories!

That is the end of my campaign,
That is my story’s end,
I hope you like this show I’ve done,
More’s just around the bend!

I got like, fifty stories,
a lotta a lotta stories,
To write them gets me glories,
When I write someone stories!
